Rukundo

I met Rukundo on the road to Rwamagana District, riding his matabaro bicycle and holding onto a big petroleum truck, hoping to catch a ride. he was in a hurry to reach the market, where he often finds work as a porter transporting goods from sellers to customers.

For him, every day is uncertain. Some days he finds work, other days he doesn’t, but he keeps going with determination. His story reflects the struggle and perseverance of many who rely on small jobs to survive, pushing through challenges with hope and strength.
