About This Artwork
This painting I was inspired by the quiet heroism of Rwandan mothers the way they walk long distances, care for their children, and protect them from the sun or rain with such love and responsibility. Their daily actions reminded me of how deeply mothers shape the future.
I use acrylic paint on a smooth, solid background unique to each painting. After preparing the background, I build the figures with detailed brushwork and soft shadows.
